We recently contracted LDG Constructions for an extension to our home. We cannot emphasize how impressed we are with the process to achieve this and, with the quality of the finished product. At the beginning of 2018, I approached LDG Constructions from the Sunshine Coast to ask if they were interested in some renovation work on a bedroom at the front of our home, and then re-landscaping the front garden to build a privacy wall and create a patio and new garden beds. By the end of 2018, what a wonderful journey it has been for us with Danny Leach, son James, and his well-chosen groups of tradespeople. We are thrilled with the end results! Danny is an expert builder, as straight and as conscientious as they come, reasonably priced, thorough, and truly dedicated to working well in a partnership with his clients to achieve their dreams for their home. As with any project, a few gremlins popped up in our build, but that was when Danny’s skills in assessing issues, suggesting creative solutions and getting things fixed well and quickly, came to the fore. One memorable moment was a winter public holiday with a massive thunderstorm dumping torrents of water onto our partially completed roof, causing water to cascade through a small hole into the newly extended bedroom. After a panicked phone call from us, Danny dropped everything on the holiday to race over to us in the storm, getting his roofing contractor out to us as well. They set about quickly diverting the water, and looking for the source of the leak up in the new roof trusses – sorted, and fixed completely the next day! That’s typical of Danny’s care and dedication towards his work and his clients. We now have a beautiful extended front bedroom, a new covered entrance approach to the house incorporating a new top deck into the new roof line, a great high privacy block wall out front, a stunning 2 level tiled patio/terrace at the front of the house built inside the new wall, and beautiful, newly planted garden beds outside the wall and inside our new front entertaining area. A few other smaller touches to re-lay side path pavers, proof a pathway against weeds, and re-mulch other garden beds, have also been much appreciated. Such beautiful enhancements to our home and future lifestyle. As Danny’s now considered part of the family, I will definitely pass more work on to him. Without hesitation, I thoroughly recommend Danny and his LDG Construction team to all prospective clients.
